On Wednesday, 10/28 for one hour starting at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET the Ace of Cups is hosting Wavy Gravy, epidemiologist Dr. Larry Brilliant and a few special guests in an online conversation.

We are featuring Wavy’s iconic song "Basic Human Needs” and exploring ways to move forward creatively and purposefully in these times. Special guests include: Jack & Trudy Kornfield, Bob & Natascha Weir, Seth Fleisher & Dr. Emily Baldwin, Dianna Cohen and Doniece Sandoval.

In 1972, at the height of the war in Vietnam, Wavy Gravy wrote his iconic song “Basic Human Needs”. In 2017, Wavy and the Ace of Cups recorded their soulful version of it for their new album, Sing Your Dreams. People Helping People will start with a watch party viewing the Basic Human Needs music video and continue with Wavy, Dr. Brilliant and special guests connecting the song to policies, practices and our upcoming election.
